This animated video brings the AdJUST Just Transition Vision to life — making it tangible, human, and worth striving for. The vision was built by ÖFSE researchers, together with project partners, through workshops with communities in Spain and Romania, covering everything from energy and housing to jobs and democratic participation.
Picture Europe in 2050: powered entirely by renewables, free from energy poverty, with affordable housing, reliable public transport reaching every corner of the continent, and meaningful work for all. A place where people have a real say in the decisions that affect them, and where living sustainably is affordable. Getting there won’t be easy — but it is possible, if the transition is driven by fairness, inclusion, and genuine collaboration across society.
