On the occasion of the TANDEM Final Conference held on July 25, 2025, Dr. Ioana Petrescu (Pur și Simplu Verde) presented findings from Task 2.2 of the AdJUST project.
Her talk focused on how firms across four European countries—Romania, Germany, Spain, and the UK—understand and respond to the just transition. Drawing on survey data from 550 companies, the presentation explored the role of organizational culture, environmental commitment, perceived financial risks, and confidence in public policy.
The analysis revealed that companies with stronger internal alignment on sustainability and greater trust in policy frameworks are more likely to invest in Just Transition initiatives.
The results contribute to AdJUST’s broader mission of designing equitable and actionable climate transition policies across the EU.
